**Role Summary:**

The Lead Forge Engineer will take responsibility for product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. This role requires mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge and a strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.


**Essential Responsibilities:**


In addition, the Lead Forge Engineer will :


+ Ownership includes both quality assurance and quality control


+ Includes quality assurance of products, services, manufacturing processes


+ Includes conformance in manufacturing, incoming goods control, product inspection, witness points, etc.


+ Develop new solutions under guidance and/or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations


+ Work together with manufacturing shop floor, as well as peers, and business leadership (including at SPB and EB level)


+ Specify needs, communicate about project approach and present outcomes of research done


+ Deliver products as part of a team


+ Work on cross functional teams


+ May lead analytical and design activities using proven technologies and vested approaches and methods


**Qualifications/Requirements:**


+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in Production Quality or Manufacturing **Desired Characteristics:**

+ A background or degree in metallurgy

+ Strong oral and written communication skills


+ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills


+ Ability to influence others and lead small teams


+ Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact


+ Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously


+ Effective problem identification and solution skills


+ Proven analytical and organizational ability
