Network Manager Sr

U.S. Bank is seeking an innovative Senior Network Security Manager to lead a team of firewall analysis & network engineers who will provide firewall governance and network analysis for a global portfolio of technologies. We are looking for a Manager who is a proven leader and change agent who can contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Uses positive motivational approaches to drive change and help maximize results. Will manage staff up to 20 employees and will be responsible for the firewall governance program, planning and development of technology roadmap strategies and will lead moderate to large projects and product budgets. **Essential Functions**

o Will lead a firewall governance team for a global portfolio

o Will lead a specialized team of network application analysis to perform a broad array of services

o Delivers influential leadership, technical expertise with the aim of creating value, maximizing growth, and improving business performance

o Consults with senior leaders and IT professionals to support business applications

o Encourages continuous improvement; ensures that best practices and lessons learned are applied across the organization

o Provides business process improvement expertise, along with organizational, financial, business, strategic and product knowledge

o Leads assessment of new projects; analyzes opportunities at a high-level and defines approach to shape/manage project scope

o Leads the development of technology strategies, guides and consults with Sr. leadership and multiple business lines

o Accepts responsibility for actions of the teams and manages priorities, assigns work appropriately on multiple projects of varying size

o Sets challenging and attainable goals. Creates ideas and areas for improvements in goals, work methods, and outcomes

o Conducts development and career planning dialogues with employees, mentors employees to promote learning and growth


**Basic Qualifications**

-Associate's degree or equivalent work experience

-At least 8 years experience with management approaches, tools, and techniques for gaining the cooperation and support of others.

-At least 8 years experience with managing day-to-day delivery of satisfactory network services to clients.


o Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience

o 6 years technical experience (network engineering and/or network security)

o 2 years of management experience (budget and direct reports)

o Superior analytical and problem solving skills

o Proven ability to adapt to change and manage multiple project deliverables

o IT service management (ITSM)

o IT service financial management

o Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
