Quality Assurance Specialist IV, Multi-Site Manufacturing Qualit
As the lead Quality Assurance Document Control specialist for MS Manufacturing Quality, you will provide QA guidance to the enterprise Network and will work to ensure alignment in the design and implementation of our Food Safety and Quality Management System (QMS) with the expectations and requirements brought by our manufacturing operations team. You will also be responsible for developing and driving compliance to Keurig's Quality Management standards. This position will support the enterprise governance system and development of new policy, metrics, procedures, training and processes across the manufacturing enterprise and facilitating cross-functional middle to senior level management team processes - as well as continuously improving the existing processes.
**Please note, this position could be based in either Waterbury, VT or Burlington, MA.**
*What you will do:*
* Review and approve Interspec item specifications for Ground, BBR, BAR, Flavored coffee specifications.
* Develop and maintain MSQ SharePoint site and perform administrative responsibilities for controlled QMS Documentation.
* Leadership for network documentation management including all updates, corrections, improvements based on feedback from the sites, distribute updated documents for review, Annual reviews for polices and SOPs and forms. Develop/write all new documents and lead teams for major updates.
* Provide expertise and guidance in interpreting QMS documentation such as policies and procedures.
* Serve as CQV Administer for NPD projects going through the CBRB or MEMPO stage Gate processes/./Responsibilities include scheduling project presenters, distributing pre-reads, providing process/presentation guidance, facilitating meetings, issuing meeting minutes and voting results. Also maintains CQV SharePoint site, publish monthly close reports and project age tracking.
* Lead QRDO projects as appropriate to support Quality Transformation and Corporate Quality initiatives.
* Review all beverage complaint samples returned from consumers and follow-up with the appropriate individuals to investigate as needed. Review daily and weekly complaint reports generated by Data Analytics group and facilitate and track resulting investigations as required.
* Support Quality Transformation (QT) projects including Cost of Quality and Critical to Quality.
* Back up support for Certification Compliance (Organic, air Trade, Kosher, Rainforest) managing Screendragon artwork approvals and Core Beverage Certification inputs for Stage Gate approvals.
* Provide Multi-Site Quality Assurance support to manufacturing operations team ensuring strong bilateral communication and advice of quality standards.
* Identifies trends and developments impacting quality and has ability to present findings to leadership.
* Leads strategic quality initiatives and QRDO projects as required.
* Follow all Keurig Green Mountain policies and procedures.
*What you must have:*
* Food Science or Technical degree required, Master's degree preferred.
* 10 years relevant Quality experience required.
* Direct experience managing Quality Management System (QMS), Quality inspection methods and measurements, package engineering techniques and data analysis.
* Demonstrated strong abilities in the areas of: Quality Management Systems and applications (ISO 9001, Lean, Six Sigma, GFSI, CQV, etc.), food regulatory and microbiology.
* Prior experience facilitating mid/senior management cross-functional level team processes.
* Demonstrated skill to persuade/influence directly, effective meeting leadership skills both internally and externally to the function.
* Demonstrated ability to facilitate complex projects and collaborate with project management across multiple manufacturing locations.
* Ability to produce fact based reports for qualification testing.
* Demonstrated Project Management experience as Project Leader and cross-functional team participant.
* Experience with food manufacturing processes from a process controls, food safety/regulatory, sanitation, environmental, and microbiological standpoint.
* Must be able to travel independently both within the US and Canada.
